Due to an increase in workload throughout our fabrication workshop, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor. The successful candidate will be able to work from both technical drawings or verbal descriptions supplied by our management team and have a flexible approach to additional working hours to meet the demands of production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track jobs through the production process at each stage or build
• Control drawing documentation to ensure all drawings are issued, returned and cross referenced to manufactured sections
• Control high value consumables
• Manage Project material ordering process for just in time deliveries
• Raising of non-conformance records & investigate issues
• Conduct quality checks of fabricated steel sections

Skills and qualifications:

• Proficient with MS Office 365, written reports and documentation
• Proven experience with Steel Fabrication workshop procedures
• Experience with steel sections & terminologies
• Experience of fabrication & welding
• Experience with fabrication drawings
• Methodical approach to work & able to self-check and identify own omissions
• Motivated and drive

Salary: £40,000
Location: Ulverston, Cumbria

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

This role is full-time and permanent.
