Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications Ltd recognises that it operates in a community, society and world that we all share.  The Company is committed to continually improving its operations and performance to minimise any negative impacts and maximise the positive effects on the communities, societies and world the Company interacts with. 


In particular our management systems shall identify and document our interactions with and corporate responsibilities towards the following company stakeholders:

Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications Ltd believe that an effective corporate social responsibility policy will play a vital role in the success of the company.  To this end the senior management are committed to:


  1. Complying with all relevant legislation and international agreements applicable to the countries we operate in;
  2. Engaging with our stakeholders, listening to their concerns and striving to eliminate or mitigate our negative impacts;
  3. Treating the workforce with respect, upholding labour rights and actively supporting human rights throughout our supply chain, where we have influence;
  4. Recruiting, retaining, rewarding and developing the best creative talent internally, locally, and in the wider labour market;
  5. Minimising risk to our workforce, those who use our products, and the communities who may be affected by our operations;
  6. Driving ethical trading principles throughout our organisation and supply chain;
  7. Challenging bribery and corruption;
  8. Developing the life cycle of our products and services to minimise their impact on the environment;
  9. Supporting sustainable development and investing in sustainable risk management solutions; and
  10. Supporting the communities we operate in.


Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications Ltd shall develop a corporate social responsibility strategy to embed these principles into the company organisation, and shall implement management systems to regularly monitor, audit and review progress, to drive change and challenge convention. 


This policy will be communicated to all company stakeholders and will be followed by all company employees and those people that work on behalf of the company.
